Founding Chair’s Welcome Message

Something unique has happened this year! Both INTERNATIONAL EXERGY, ENERGY AND ENVIRONMENT (IEEES) SYMPOSIUM and INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON HYDROGEN PRODUCTION (ICH2P) have reached the 16th ones in their series although they were initiated in different years: IEEES in 2003 and ICH2P in 2008. Due to this unplanned, remarkable overlap, we have decided to organize these conferences together in a special place in Europe. My close friend Dr. Iordache Ioan kindly accepted to organize both conferences together in a special city of Romania, Craiova.

We are now getting ready to make these two conferences landmark type events by bringing together world renowned, leading researchers to deliver keynote talks and provide guidance and future perspectives uniquely in the fields of energy, exergy, environment and sustainable development in addition to hydrogen energy. There will some special and invited talks by various representatives from various sectors. There will be selected talks and presentations discuss some recent developments, current issues and potential solutions.

In closing, I warmly welcome you all to come and enjoy this opportunity through two distinguished conferences in Craiova, Romania.

Cordially,

Prof. Ibrahim Dincer, PhD

Ontario Tech University, Canada

Rector’s Welcome Message                     Chair's Welcome Message

It is my great honour to welcome you to the University of Craiova as the host of two major scientific events: the 16th edition of the International Exergy, Energy and Environment Symposium (IEEES-2025) and the 16th edition of the International Conference on Hydrogen Production (ICH2P-2025).

Being one of the leading universities in Romania and a respected higher education institution in Europe, we believe in scientific research that has global relevance and local applicability. The permanent synergy between fundamental, multidisciplinary, and applied research is what makes us ready to react to the challenges of our most dynamic world. We build our commitment to provide the new generations of engineers, chemists, physicists, economists, or artists on the values of inclusion, openness, transparency and academic integrity.

Today, more than ever before, international collaboration is at the core of scientific advancement and these two events are proof that universities will always be the pillars of human progress.

Prof. Cezar Ionuț Spînu, PhD
